No

Should I say what I should not, I’m not happy with what I got?

I should not.

I won’t play the victim card, I won’t play that game.

I would die of shame.

I’m glad I came.

Should I act as those I despise?

The truth does not tell lies.

I rarely ever shed a tear.

I hope I laugh next year.

In a world of murdered enemies peace and justice please.

Its pointless worrying about me.

Alright.

I see.

Stigma

Because of stigma people won’t admit they’re mad.

That’s sad.

The cure is right within yourself, get with it, do it.

There’s nothing to it.

Mad is nothing, it means nothing, get that straight.

You are master of your fate.

The Question

My best friend Michael O’Brien said I will be famous after I’m dead.

He died first, instead.

Do I want fame for myself, no.

The truth comes dropping slow.

I want what everyone wants but hardly dares to expect.

World peace, an end to war and argument as you might suspect.

I write my words, they say the same.

Allow children play a game.

Maybe Michael’s right, may my words be true.

I want a perfect world for you.

How about me too?

A perfect world requires perfected people, they are rare.

The burning question, do you care?

Modern Age

Am I out of keeping with the modern age, is it an age filled with rage?

An age of discontent, you know what I meant.

People appear fed up, telling each other to shut up.

Dealing with each other at arms length, thinking all that matters is superior strength.

That’s not my way, I prefer to play.

Life is a game it seems to me, who wants victory?

The game is the thing, the game is king.

Winning is not all, head the ball.

Enjoy the music, enjoy the dance.

Do not adopt a stance.

Remember kings of France.

Sense from Quora

Brian Overland

In a nutshell…

  • Everywhere people are in chains, especially workers. This part often seems to be true.
  • The captialist system requires ever greater expansion, and therefore exploitation, simply to sustain itself. It’s a process that Marx says can’t continue forever. This has appeared to be true at times, but doesn’t have to be.
  • The root cause of all this evil is private property itself, according to Marx. This is the part of Marxism, I think, that is most at odds with human nature.
  • The solution is, at first, a super-strong centralized socialist government that would take away most private property rights, especially the right to own factories, the “means of production.”
  • That strong government would then fade away, leaving a kind of utopia in which goods and services went “from each accoring to his ability” flowing toward “each according to need.”
  • And all of this is supposed to be inevitable, to happen through historical necessity.

The decision of history seems to be that the part of Marxism dealing with the problems of capitalism has some validity; however, the prescribed solution has spectacularly failed. Strong dictatorial regimes have never faded away to be replaced by some perfect kind of utopia.
