Appeal

While talking to a psychopath I mentioned war and peace.

He said they had slaves in ancient Greece.

I said no one got it all right, no people, anywhere.

He said if you don’t go all the way you just don’t care.

He said millionaires and billionaires and trillionaires are drug dealers too.

All their protective mechanisms are to protect them from you.

An appeal to their better natures, if they have one, would that make any difference,

I said.

He said you could talk to them until you’re dead.

I said I want a world without bullet ridden bodies, mutilated lives,

that’s what I seek.

He said you are a spokesman for the weak.

He said save your soul, you lonely fool.

To save the world requires self rule.
