Selling A House

Sale agreed does not mean sold.

Will you learn the truth before you’re old?

The one who agreed to buy may not be able to raise the money.

If you are the seller that is not funny.

The one who buys thinks they paid too much, the one who sells thinks they did not get enough.

So my next door neighbour said.

He may or may not be dead.

Another Day Yet Again

On that fateful day in the month of May I had my say.

People stayed away.

I’ll come back another day.

Is this poem exciting?

Delighting?

Should I keep writing?

Or come out fighting?

I ask you.

What is your point of view?

Whatever, me too.

I’m good enough.

I can play rough.

Enough stuff.

Wonder 2

The wonder of the world before your eyes.

Surprise.

People calling you an asshole, angry, nearly mad.

True and glad.

But hurt.

Ragwort.

Blue sky.

High.

Everyday.

Come what may.

Spontaneous abstraction.

Driven to distraction.

A hug.

Present rug.

Becoming clear.

Far and near.

Here.

Of Cosmic Significance

Events of cosmic significance are taking place even as we talk.

Run after you walk.

Are you aware of dark matter, do you even know its there?

Do you care?

Is the expanding universe a blessing or a curse?

It gets worse.

If you can explain all these things you may win the Nobel prize.

Don’t tell lies.

Apparently only five percent of these things are known.

I’ll tell you on the phone.

Your brain is not alone.

We call this home.

End of poem.

I live in a house called Reality.

George and me.

He is my brother.

I had another.

Enough about me.

Wait and see.

Do you care about the mighty and the small?

Or at all?

I do.

And you.
