Normal Life

Someone must wash the dishes and buy food now and then.

I do, don’t ask me when.

Okay, a guy came to read the meter as I came home.

I let him in, he did it, he went on his way to roam.

In between I write a poem, think or dream.

Pay for my brother’s icecream.

Today was rather good as days go, weatherwise and don’t you know.

I rang a friend or two and drank and smoked.

Met some people, laughed and joked.
