Michael,
Here is the DVD of the film I made to publicise my singing CD called Great Irish Songs. The film comprises 5 short films, some new, some old, the old you have seen before, but so what?
The CD’S are talks or sets of talks, mainly from the BBC but one or two from other stations, Newstalk and RTE Radio 1.
- Age of Anger, a talk by an Indian of great intellect.
- Confucius
- Copernicus/the Burren
- Deaths of the Poets
- Fast and Slow Thinking
- Freudian Analysis
- Inspiration
- Irrational
- Irrational Decisions
- John Clare, Peasant Poet
- Newgrange
- Points of View 1
- Points of View 2
- Seneca
- William Blake biography
Three of these talks appear to be with or about Michael Lewis and his new book, these are numbers 5, 8 and 9 above. A very interesting book.
Regarding numbers 12 and 13, the Points of View talks, I enclose playlists showing the speakers and subjects.
As I said on the phone, I would like you to first play the DVD and give me a full review, favourable I hope. It plays on the DVD exactly as on the internet, same order of films and everything, one leading straight into the next, and so on to the end.
To see that film called Great Irish Songs on the internet click on or type in this link to a computer’s address bar: https://tinyurl.com/GreatIrishSongs. Not that that concerns you as you don’t use a computer. I found how to make that short link the other day instead of the gobbledegook one the computer first provides.
Please don’t go blind or deaf before playing these. After this Heaven will be an anticlimax. Happy memories, David (Tich)
