Perfecting A Poem

Should I put in a comma, leave one out?

Does anyone, will anyone, know what its about?

Should I move a word, remove a word or change a word?

Will it sound well when its heard?

Poems, my grandfather said, are meant to be spoken.

He wasn’t joking.

Although of course he did.

When I was a kid.

The hardest part is the last line.

When you get that one right, everything is fine.

Like Summertime.
